Abstracts can be 350-700 words long - we suggest that you write the Abstract in a separate document and then cut and paste it into the submission form. If your abstract is accepted, you will be asked to resubmit it using a standard format for publication and dissemination at the conference.

Abstracts: We are accepting abstracts from individuals who would like to participate in the 2009 Conference in Skopje, Macedonia.
The theme of the conference is "How Small Places Change the World: Economic Development & Innovation in Small Countries".
Possible themes for posters include,
- Private / public partnerships
- Economic policy
- Innovation in small & mid-sized enterprises
- R&D in the private sector
- Workforce development
- Education - K-12 or higher education
- Innovation in Health and medicine
- Innovation in Manufacturing
- Innovation in IT / telecoms
- Innovation in Food, Agriculture & Natural resources
The poster session will be similar to sessions held at scientific conferences. Detailed guidelines will be available to those whose abstracts are accepted. Please recall that “science” includes social science and related disciplines, such as economics, political science, psychology, public administration, business management, law etc.
