We read every message sent in and try to reply promptly to every one. This information is used to respond directly to your questions or comments. We may also file your comments to improve the site and program, or review and discard the information.

How Such Information is Used: Your email address may be used to send you communications of interest from the Fulbright Academy. These may include email newsletters or other email updates, invitations to events and news about conferences and employment opportunities. You can opt-out of these communications at any time by logging into http://www.FulbrightAcademy.org/ and accessing your profile.

Who Has Access to Your Information: Fulbright Academy staff, members, and alumni of Fulbright programs can access biographical data (name, address, email address and phone number, etc.) via the online directory. In addition, individual users may choose at any time to limit what information is available in their online directory listing on a line-by-line basis (i.e., a member may choose to display the city and state in which they live but not their street address), or the person may opt-out of appearing in the directory altogether. Your personal information is NEVER shared with third parties for outside marketing or other purposes.

Internet Protocol Address: We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users' movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Many consider the use of cookies to be an industry standard. Your browser is probably set to accept cookies. However, if you would prefer not to receive cookies, you can alter the configuration of your browser to refuse cookies. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, it is possible that some areas of our Site will not function properly when you view them.

How You Can Correct Any Inaccuracies in Your Information: You may update your information or correct inaccuracies at any time by logging into http://www.worldearning.org/ and accessing your directory listing. We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our Site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of the Fulbright Academy. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of such information.

Fulbright Academy Information Security Plan: In addition to this privacy policy for the Fulbright Academy of Science & Technology’s online community, the Fulbright Academy has an overall Information Security Plan which describes safeguards to protect covered data and information in our information systems.
